Antimicrobial Coating Service
Antimicrobial coating service provided by Baguio is using BioShield antimicrobial technology developed from the USA and aimed at preventing the spread of bacteria and viruses. The safety of the protectant formula is approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), American Society for Testing and Materials International (ASTM), 5 European Norms (EN14476) , and ISO 22196. It is effective in killing viruses and bacteria up to 99.9% and consists of residual protection up to 90 days on surfaces. The residue is proven to be non-toxic by EPA and FDA which is a green and long-lasting protectant. It is best to apply in the area with high footfall such as residential and commercial buildings, shopping malls, offices, schools, restaurants, and public transportations.

How it works:
Comparing to traditional chemical sterilization, the physical sterilization adapted by BioShield is more effective. After the antimicrobial coating service, the surface of the coating area is full of BioShield’s molecules. Many microbes are negatively charged while BioShield is positively charged therefore, as in nature, BioShield “attract” the negatively charged microbes toward them until contact. Another part of BioShield is a long carbon chain (needle-like) that releases an ionic charge that disrupts the microbe’s cell membrane upon contact mechanically inactivating the microbe. At the same time, the quaternary compound component of BioShield denatures the microbe’s proteins.
After the antimicrobial coating service, the surface of the coating area is full of BioShield’s molecules which is in a long carbon chain (needle-like).
Negatively charged microbes are attracted by positively charged BioShield’s molecule. An ionic charge from BioShield’s molecules disrupt the microbe’s cell membrane.
Spraying disinfection is highly recommended to ensure the viruses were killed.
