Smart Bin integrates a variety of modern technological features and employs a modular design to save space, making it ideal for the densely populated areas of Hong Kong. Strategically placed at convenient locations, it is equipped with UV lights and a disinfection system to keep the bin clean, ensuring the recycling process is both efficient and hygienic. The bin features self-diagnostic capabilities to monitor the condition of the device, overflow alerts, and GPS tracking, enabling clients to monitor the recycling status. If any abnormalities are detected, data is automatically sent to the backend system and an SMS/email notification is sent to the site manager.

• Big Data Platform: Supports 4G/5G for remote data transmission to the big data platform for data analysis, enhancing management efficiency.
• Monitoring Function: Built-in cameras record each transaction, aiding in tracking anomalies and ensuring data accuracy and transparency.
• Weighing Function: Inside each recycling compartment has a four-corner balanced smart weighing module for automatic weighing of each disposal.
• Interface with Reward Platforms: Interfaces with any reward platform using QR codes for system operations, automatically weighing and converting to Green Rewards points, and logging them in the user's account.
• 24-Hour Monitoring System: Features a 720P surveillance camera with infrared night vision.
• LED Photocell Lighting and Bin Status Indicator Lights: Lights up during night upon detecting motion; the display light on the compartment door shows green or red depending on status.
• Overflow Alert: Issues alerts when the recycling bin reaches designated fill level % and 100% capacity.
• Real-Time Alerts: Temperature sensors, and smoke detectors send signals to the backend and SMS/email alerts to the site manager during emergencies.
• Backup Power: Supports operation for up to 12 hours during power outages.
