Sustainable Approach

Sustainable Development Governance

Since its establishment in 2021, our Sustainable Development Oversight Committee ("Committee") has been continuously monitoring Baguio's progress in sustainable development. The Committee convenes regular meetings to discuss climate-related risks and opportunities, the content of environmental, social, and governance reports, and the progress of implementing recommendations from the Environment, Social, and Governance Task Force. The Committee maintains communication with all relevant departments and ensures that the Board of Directors is fully informed of Baguio's sustainable development achievements and performance.

The Environment, Social, and Governance Task Force ("Task Force") is composed of representatives from five business units and key departments to enhance internal communication within the Group. The Task Force reports directly to the Committee and disseminates knowledge and updates on sustainable development throughout the Group, ensuring that all personnel are informed of essential information related to sustainability.

Sustainability Framework

Our Sustainability Steering Committee (the “Committee”) continues to oversee Baguio’s progress toward sustainability
since its establishment in 2021. The Committee convenes regularly, maintains open communication with all related
departments, including the ESG Working Group (“Working Group”), and keeps the Board of Directors well-informed about Baguio’s sustainability achievements and performance.

Our Sustainability Commitment

Baguio expands its operations in a responsible and sustainable manner, aiming to create a "green and clean" living environment for the general public. In developing and providing professional comprehensive environmental services, it is committed to improving operational and resource utilization efficiency, and carefully managing resource consumption to reduce potential environmental impacts.

We have put forward three major environmental commitments (with the baseline year being 2016):

  • By 2030, a 30% reduction in the Group's total carbon emission density.
  • By 2030, a 30% reduction in the Group's total energy consumption density.
  • By 2030, increasing the Group's total recyclable waste recovery to 60%.

Policy

The Sustainable Development Policy ("Policy") is adopted by the Board of Directors of the Company and applies to the Company and its subsidiaries ("the Group"). The Group provides diversified comprehensive environmental services, including environmental hygiene and sanitation, resource recycling, waste management and collection, landscaping projects, integrated pest and disease management, green technology, green product. Therefore, the Group must clearly articulate its sustainable development philosophy to provide clear guidance for the operation of its businesses. Each subsidiary of the Group should refer to this Policy and develop appropriate management policies and operational guidelines tailored to the characteristics of their respective industries and locations.

We establish policies to guide our daily operations, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable development.
