A Baguio subsidiary, Organic Tech Limited has been awarded a contract (valued at HK$27.66 million) by Hong Kong’s Environmental Protection Department (“EPD”) for bioconversion of chicken waste to animal feed and fertilizer by detritivores. Nearly 1/3 of organic waste from chicken farms in Hong Kong will be handled. This EPD contract is first ever in Hong Kong.
