Senior Claims Officer
Responsibilities:
- Handle administrative work and conduct investigation of reported PL cases and claims
- Monitor the progress and development of claims, including small amount claims, civil claims, professional liability claims, etc.
- To liaise with insurance brokers, loss adjusters, solicitors and claimants in relation to insurance policies and claims
- Provide advice to management and managers on claims matters and insurance coverage
- Work with operation teams & SHEQ team to ensure compliance with contract requirements and regulations as well as develop control measures for operations
- Prepare claim reports and statistics for management’s review
- Maintain and review the service providers' registration system of the Group
- Other Ad hoc tasks assigned by department head
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma graduate, preferably in Legal, Risk Management and related disciplines
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience with insurance and public liability claims
- Advanced knowledge of claims handling concepts, practices, procedures and technique
- Detail-minded and possessing good communication skills
- Strong analytical mind and negotiation skills
- Strong sense of risk management and prevention controls
- Excellent command of both spoken and written in English and Chinese
- Immediate availability is preferred
